Here’s what went down today on G&A:
* Day 2 of 3 for G&A’s Holiday Heroes with proceeds benefiting The 100 Club of Arizona. Gambo & Ash are optimistic for a BIG final day on Thursday!
* Paul Babeu, President of Chandler Police Union donates $250 to Holiday Heroes.
* Diamondbacks managing general partner Jeff Moorad donates NASCAR tickets to a night race at PIR on April 12 and his personal seats to a Diamondbacks game.
* Dan Morris donates a living trust
* ASU Athletic Director Lisa Love joined the show. She discussed the Sun Devils big win over Xavier last weekend. Meanwhile, the ASU football team is in full preparation for next week’s Holiday Bowl showdown against Texas in San Diego.
* Brett Favre passed Dan Marino for most career passing yards over the weekend. Did anyone notice/care? G&A discussed why other sports milestones are celebrated when many in the NFL are overlooked.
* We were joined by former Suns player and coach Paul Westphal. ”Westy” is now the lead assistant under Avery Johnson in Dallas. He discussed the difference between coaching in college and in the pros. He also previewed tonight’s Suns-Mavs game in Big D.
* G&A also discussed the mess that is Florida State football. Twenty players suspended for the bowl game against Kentucky for cheating. G&A agree the mighty has fallen - when/where did all go wrong for the Seminoles?
