Here’s what went down Tuesday on G&A:

* No Ash, just Gambo this afternoon.

* The Lakers are now tied with the Suns atop the Pacific Division. Then was the last time this happened? Gambo still thinks the Suns are better and will win the division, but the Lakers are improved and could be a thorn in the side of Phoenix come playoff time.

* We were joined by former Sun, now Clippers forward Tim Thomas. T2 said he is enjoying living and playing in LA, but misses the Suns’ tempo and his old teammates.

* Giants offensive lineman and former ASU star Grey Ruegamer joined Gambo to discuss Sunday’s big win in Dallas. Grey loved beating the ‘Boys especially after the pregame trashing talking from Patrick Crayton, T.O. and the gang. He said the frigid temps should not bother either team this weekend at Lambeau Field.

* Gambo lobbied for all the ASU fans to pull for the Giants to reach the “Big Game” because he is the only Sun Devil alum playing this weekend. Some people actually bought whatever Gambo was selling.

* We were also joined by former two-sport star Gene Gonley. Conley shared his thoughts on playing against Wilt Chamberlain and pitching to Ted Williams - in the same year. He was Bo Jackson, Deion Sanders and Brian Jordan before those guys ever stepped on a professional playing field. Conley is also the only athlete to win a championship in both basketball and baseball.

* Callers shared their thoughts on some of the bigger and smaller two-sport stars of the past and present.
