Anger Management

Here’s what went down Monday on G&A:

* Doug Franz has anger management issues. G&A wonder why Doug would treat his co-workers with such disrespect-via e-mail, no less. Oh well, every clock ticks a little different, I guess.

* We are less than a week away from the “big game” in Glendale. The masses are beginning to trickle into the Valley. G&A discussed which Patriot team will show up. The team that blew everyone out the first half of the season - or the team that has “struggled” in the playoffs? Gambo threw big props to Bill Belichick for tweaking the week-to-week games plans and keeping the perfect season intact - even when things didn’t look good (vs. Ravens on MNF). With weather not expected to be any sort of factor, Ash thinks this could be another “breakout” game for New England.

* ASU hoops is reeling after three straight losses while UA is playing the best basketball of the season with three straight wins. Ash predicted a mid-season stumble after the Sun Devils’ 4-0 start in conference play. G&A agree they need a second scoring option outside of freshman phenom James Harden.

* The Suns outlasted the shorthanded Bulls Sunday in Chicago. Steve Nash loved the “ugly win.” Gambo thinks this team is good enough to win it all, but inconsistent enough to lose in the first round. Will the Suns look past Atlanta tomorrow? They better not - they own the Hawks 1st-round pick this year.

Tuesday: Donovan McNabb, Dontrelle Willis and super sports handicapper Brandon Lang
