During hour one of our show, we talk about a 14-year-old leukemia patient who refused a lifesaving blood transfusion for religious reasons! He was a Jehovah’s Witness and they’re not down with this facet of medical science! And yes, Gaydos said the kid was a Jehovah’s Witness. He’s no longer with us because a judge wouldn’t grant his parents the right to get him the transfusion anyway! I find this kind of behavior to be absolutely nuts! There’s no difference, in my opinion, between this kid’s actions and those of Middle Eastern suicide bombers! They’re both examples of how religion kills!
At 8, T.V. station CBS 5 has taken a look at the MySpace pages of new teachers in the Valley and were startled by what they found! Inappropriate song lyrics, photos of teachers in skimpy clothing…some of the teachers wouldn’t even talk about these embarrassing web pages! Gaydos has to ask, can kids even learn from teachers when this sort of private info is out there on the web?
9 o’clock brings us to the “Rated R Issue of the Night” and it’s a disturbing one! Christina Aguilera is the latest celebrity, big with child, to appear semi-nude on a magazine cover! Where is the shame?! Gaydos doesn’t need to see that! Hanna Scott weighs in on the issue and so do our callers. Is this kind of display beautiful and natural or is it just plain gross? Gaydos votes “gross!”

It’s a tooth-and-nail battle between Republican and Democrat as they try to match answers with our panel of stars! Presidential historian and scholar B.
