New facts are being discovered in the horrible case of Ashly Duchene, the mom and Hooters waitress who left her toddler to die in a hot car. According to court papers, Duchene has attempted suicide at least once. Does that fact change your feelings about this case? Also, I think it begs the question, why did those who were around this troubled mom not step in and remove baby Ryan from such a dangerous situation? I think anyone who stood idly by while the situation got worse should be jailed along with Duchene!

Tragedy strikes the valley again as a 17-month-old boy dies in a sweltering car. His mom was inside Hooters, waiting tables and was reportedly horrified to find the baby still in the car at the end of her shift. The investigation is underway and of course, we have to reserve judgment until its findings are revealed. However, I have to ask, how does this happen? In fact, how does it keep happening over and over again?
In much lighter news, shoppers at Gilbert’s SanTan Village Mall are riled up about the giant image of a hot, juicy, bra- and panty-clad chick. Said chick is a Victoria’s Secret model, featured on a ginormous billboard. Believe it or not, Gaydos has a complaint about this half-dressed honey!
