At 8 o’clock, a Phoenix attorney says Sheriff Joe himself has been guilty of racial profiling! Julie Pace is representing businesses who oppose the new employee sanctions law. She says that Sheriff Joe actually asked his waitress if she was in the country legally. Did the sheriff really ask that question? He’s an eccentric guy; maybe he did! But, even if he did, is it a big deal? We’ll also touch on Manuel Ortega’s lawsuit against the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office for allegedly detaining him illegally. That’s at 8:50!
At 9, I’ll boil down today’s Republican debate in Iowa! It was a disaster! The moderator was awful! I didn’t get to see anyone rip Mike Huckabee because the candidates weren’t allowed to address each other! At least Alan Keyes (who?) was there for comic relief!
9:30 brings us to “Gaydos on the News,” in which we cover ten big stories in ten minutes with the help of 92.3 news anchor Hanna Scott! Tonight we learn that Jodie Foster is finally out of the closet and Ike Turner is finally good and dead!
