Gaydos After Dark–Monday, January 14, 2008

One Iranian official has accused President Bush of stirring up irrational fears about their proud nation!  That’s why we’re bringing you “The Top 7 Signs You Have Iranophobia”!

Topic number one tonight:  an arrest has been made in the case of the Chandler Rapist, but why, oh why, did it take so long???  I’ll tell you why!  A certain radio station refused to describe the guy fully!  Chandler police invited the guy to chat them up on the phone!  Worst of all–and you may not believe this–part of our own community didn’t even want the guy caught!  At 7:40, we hear from Sgt. Paul Penzone of Silent Witness, who tells us how easy it is to report crime anonymously!  After 8, we consider how your feelings about this case might be different if the accused were a U.S. citizen!  We take your calls on the many facets of this issue through 9 o’clock!

Our third hour begins with the presidential race and how the issue of race is coming into it!  Who is playing the race card?  You may be surprised!

At 9:30, legendary ABC newsman Sam Donaldson sheds some light on the sparring between the Obama and Clinton camps,  as well as what we can look forward to as these United States go forward with their respective primaries!

Seventeen…eighteen…nineteen hours of news, opinion and entertainment, all rolled up into this brilliant three-hour show; that’s Gaydos After Dark!

Gaydos After Dark–Friday, January 11, 2008

Janet Napolitano endorsed Barack Obama today…so we bring to you “The Top 7 ways Janet Napolitano will show her support for Barack Obama!”

During our first hour tonight we revisit the Sgt. Tom Lovejoy and Bandit debate. Cheryl Lynn Lovejoy joins us with new information on three police dogs who died in Sheriff’s Office custody. Is it unfair of the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to charge Sgt. Lovejoy when they won’t even thoroughly investigate the situations surrounding these other three dogs’ deaths?

At 8, it’s back to the illegal immigration debate. School’s out for some illegal immigrant children. Undocumented immigrant parents are holding their kids out of school in fear they’ll be deported! There’s no way a kid’s going to get hauled out of math class and sent out of the country. Totally bogus!

At 8:30 Gaydos peeps weigh in on the weeks big issues with “Up to 20!” Everything from Hillary Clinton’s tears to Kelly Tilghman talking about lynching Tiger Woods was brought up. Fantastic!

In the final hour of the show we ripped 13-year-old Bobby Thorn. Why did we rip Bobby, you ask? Because he wanted to be a male cheerleader. Talk about an easy way to be persecuted for life! It doesn’t end there. Bobby’s Mom sued the school he attends and got $3,000, plus a bunch of administrators have to go through sensitivity training because Bobby was kept off the team. Maybe he should go join the boy scouts!

We end tonight’s broadcast with Eleanor Clift from The McLaughlin Group and Newsweek. Eleanor tells us what she thinks about Janet Napolitano’s endorsement of Barack Obama and the Primary races in both South Carolina and Michigan.

I’ll see ya Monday…it’s great to have Gaydos on the program!

Gaydos After Dark–Thursday, January 10, 2008

Mike Huckabee went on The Colbert Report and asked Stephen Colbert to be his V.P.! That’s why we’re bringing you “The Top 7 Things That Would Be Different With a Comedian in Office”!

During our first hour tonight, we address the outcry surrounding Golf Channel anchor Kelly Tilghman! During a recent broadcast, she told another commentator that the only way to defeat Tiger Woods was to “lynch him”! Some think Tilghman’s remark was racist, so of course Al Sharpton had to get involved! Ah, give her a break! She just didn’t think about what she was saying!

At 8 o’clock, we return to the chaos surrounding immigration protests at day labor centers around Phoenix! 92.3 reporter Bob McClay tells us that a response may be coming from Phoenix police as early as Friday! Our own Sandra Haros has been observing this situation and weighs in with her view. After 8:30, we also hear from Buffalo Rick Galeener of United For a Sovereign America. He’s the demonstrator who recently spouted nastiness at a praying U.S. citizen and a Viet Nam vet! We stick with this topic through the rest of the show and find that the emotions surrounding it aren’t going to subside any time soon!

Gaydos After Dark–Wednesday, January 9, 2008

Hillary won the New Hampshire primary yesterday, all because she cried like a chick, so tonight we have “The Top 7 Ways Hillary Will Use Her Femininity to Win the Election”!

Both Senators McCain and Clinton talked about comebacks in their victory speeches last night! For Hillary, this was a big bounce back after a third place finish in Iowa–and we all know that McCain’s whole campaign was teetering on the brink a while back! During our 7 o’clock hour, we ask, who was the real comeback kid in New Hampshire?

At 8, it’s the great “Gaydos After Dark Cry-Off,” in which we ask the ladies to call in and prove Hillary faked her tears by showing us how it’s done!

At 8:30, you won’t believe what one mom did to punish her son after she found booze in his car! Some people are saying she’s the best mom ever, but I think she was too hard on the kid! We get your thoughts on this issue and then, after 9, your calls on creative punishments you’ve handed out to your kids!

Hanna Scott joins us at 9:30 for “Gaydos on the News”! Believe it or not, we’ll talk about a guy who lopped off his own hand because he thought it had the mark of Satan on it, plus, you’ll never believe where one man ran into his wife! Boy, were both of their faces red!

Gaydos After Dark–Monday, January 7, 2008

Senator John McCain has gained some leeway in the polls, making it look like the battle for the GOP nomination isn’t a done deal yet, so we’ve got “The Top 7 Reasons for John McCain’s Surge in Popularity”!

We devote tonight’s first hour to McCain’s big lead in the New Hampshire polls! McCain could win there tomorrow and I’d like to support this local guy. Unfortunately, I can’t do that because he doesn’t seem to be serving us very well in Arizona! For cryin’ out loud, he doesn’t even know jack about the employer sanctions law!

Buffalo Rick Galeener has made himself very visible in the ugly goings on surrounding illegal immigration! He’s with United for a Sovereign America and he wants the immigration situation resolved! I can’t imagine a better guy to not get the job done! We’ll also hear from Maria, who thinks Gaydos is about to plunge Phoenix into chaos! That’s our 8 o’clock hour!

At 9, legendary ABC newsman Sam Donaldson checks in from New Hampshire! We talk about Hillary, Romney, Obama, Edwards…the whole gang waiting with bated breath for tomorrow’s results there!

At 9:20, speaking of Hillary, she started boohooing in front of a New England crowd today. She can’t do that and be presidential! P.S., I don’t even think those were real tears!

One last item at 9:50: we hear eccentric coach Bobby Knight go from swearing at reporters to making baby talk with his grandson! I love that guy!

Gaydos After Dark–Wednesday, January 2, 2008

The Iowa Caucuses are happening tomorrow and they’ll be a giant barometer for this election year, but why doesn’t something this big start right here in Arizona? We’re bringing you “The Top 7 Reasons Arizona Should Hold the First Caucus Instead of Iowa”!

Happy Solid New Year! On January 1st, the new employer sanctions law came into full effect! Will lawmakers see the results they want, or will the new law do more harm than good? I’m afraid we may see a new wave of crime coming from newly desperate undocumented immigrants! We get your thoughts on the subject during the first half of tonight’s show!

At 8:30, we’re joined by the crown jewel of the Gaydos After Dark political team! ABC newsman Sam Donaldson is in Iowa for Thursday’s caucuses and he gives Gaydos the lowdown on the process and the major players!

Finishing out hour 2, we follow the bracing excitement building up in Iowa with a special, Gaydos After Dark look at the candidates’ itineraries!

At 9, we’ll talk about the lady who was removed from a bus in Fort Worth, Texas for reading the Bible aloud! Did she get kicked off for being too loud, or for being too religious?

Hanna Scott joins us for “Gaydos on the News” at 9:30! On tonight’s installment, it’s the nut job beauty queen who kidnapped her ex and K-Fed’s rekindled relationship with Paris Hilton! Uh, who, exactly, would be the loser in that bargain?

We end tonight’s fantastic broadcast with “What the Huck?” our look at what on earth my least favorite Republican candidate is up to now!

7 to 10, 7 to 10, 7 to 10; that’s how I roll!!!
