The Oscar nominees also receive "Gift Bags" for their nomination. These people are rich and have more than enough money to buy it themselves. Why do the "rich" receive more unneeded stuff that they could buy themselves? It would be more PC to have the money spent for these "gifts" to be given to a charity of the nominees choice! This would be an idea to try to spread to these organizations I would think. Besides, why do these people's "EGOs" need to be awarded so much?
