It’s Valentine’s Day and that means–well–for some it means hearts and flowers, but for others it’s annoyance and humiliation! Tonight, let’s shoot you through the heart with “The Top 7 Signs You’re Having a Lousy Valentine’s Day”!

We’ll bring you just one entertainment- and information-filled hour of Gaydos After Dark tonight! Mitt Romney threw his support behind John McCain today, which makes him look like the biggest wuss ever! After what McCain pulled in Florida, why would Romney ever, ever endorse him?!

Gaydos After Dark–Wednesday, February 13, 2008

Former trainer Brian McNamee testified against Roger Clemens today! We’ll kick off tonight’s Gaydos After Dark with “The Top 7 Roger Clemens Excuses for Using Steroids”!

In our first hour tonight, what am I going to do about my Valentine’s Day bet with Mac Watson?! Peeps, I’ll need your help! Now that I’ve opened my big mouth, how do I give my illegal alien girlfriend the ultimate romantic evening?!

After 8, it’s “Lights, Camera, Vote!” I didn’t ask for photo radar cameras on Arizona highways, did you? I didn’t think so! These contraptions are a big revenue generator, but they’re not even all that effective! Finally, they’re going let you and me vote on these things!

Starting off our third hour, we get Gaydos After Dark sports guy Jon Bloom on the horn and we’ll discuss Roger Clemens! I can’t believe one of my beloved Yankees could have used performance enhancing drugs! Say it ain’t so, Bloom! Say it ain’t so!!

At 9:30, we talk with The McLaughlin Group’s Eleanor Clift! She’ll share her ideas on whether Republicans are going to get behind McCain and the big wrench Obama has thrown into the gears of the Clinton campaign!

Hanna Scott tells us at 9:50, she’s not all wrapped up in the froufrou hearts-and-lace garbage of Valentine’s Day! She’s not like the eight million Americans who admit to sending Valentine gifts to themselves–or, as I like to call them, losers!

Gaydos After Dark–Tuesday, February 12, 2008

A Valley landlord made a discovery right out of a horror show yesterday, so we’re bringing you “The Top 7 Excuses for Storing a Mummy in Your Bathtub”!

We have to start tonight’s show with a look at Barack Obama’s continued climb up the ladder to leadership of the most powerful nation on Earth! In the weekend’s primaries, he kicked butt and took names! Today, in Virginia, Maryland and D.C., it was more of the same! Help Gaydos figure this out; is it over for Hillary? We’ll stay with this topic until 9 o’clock. By the way, if you’re a Republican and you’re saving your vote for Obama, be here at 8:30 to learn the special pet name he’s given you!

At 9 o’clock, we crack open “The Rated R Issue of the Night,” and stir in a little “Gaydos Experiment” as well! A new survey says men would give up a certain beloved activity in order to receive a certain appealing piece of electronics! I’d certainly like to know if women would make the same sacrifice!

Headbanger Hanna Scott joins me for “Gaydos on the News” at 9:30! We’ll have more on one apartment building’s resident mummy, Dolly Parton’s puzzling back strain and a historically significant piece of presidential finger food!

Gaydos After Dark–Monday, February 11, 2008

John Edwards may be out of the race for the White House, but he still might prove useful to one of the remaining candidates! Tonight, Gaydos brings you “The Top 7 Ways Barack Obama Plans to Woo John Edwards for His Endorsement”!

Starting off the program tonight, I’ve been following the Obama campaign closely and it’s the weirdest thing, but I think I trust this guy! Am I crazy? Am I drinking the koolaid or will this guy be good for our country?

In these modern times, you may think you’ve heard it all, but I bet you haven’t heard of a boy who wants to attend second grade as a girl! We’ll launch this topic at 8:30! At 9, KTAR news anchor Hanna Scott tells us what she, as a mom, thinks about the situation with this young would-be RuPaul!

Sam Donaldson visits Gaydos After Dark every Monday night! At 9:30, he’ll share his wisdom on the ongoing battle for delegates between Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton!

Headbanger Hanna Scott is back to wrap up tonight’s show with a quick look at last night’s Grammy Awards! Who the heck is Herbie Hancock and why was he worthy of album of the year?!

Gaydos After Dark–Friday, February 8, 2007

What will the Clinton camp do when the cash runs out? Let’s find out with “The Top 7 Ways Hillary Plans on Raising Money”!

First off tonight, it’s a tragic situation. Two suspected illegals were hit by a train today as they tried to evade law enforcement and I must say, I’m shocked at the lack of compassion people are showing on our message boards! One woman died at the scene and some people have the gall to laugh and wish more had died! Anyone so heartless is just an inhuman piece of crap if you ask me!

Friday night plus 8:30 equals “Up to 20,” our weekly feature in which you have twenty seconds to give us your unpredictable comments and uncensored opinions! Best call wins a 92.3 KTAR prize pack!

The suits go to sleep at 9, so that’s when it’s safe to bring out “The Rated R Issue of the Night”! There’s a website out there that lets married men and women connect with others who, like them, are looking to cheat on their spouses! We’ll even hear from a man and woman who hooked up on this site! Have. You. Ever?! For that matter, would you ever?

Starting off the last half hour is “Gaydos on the News”! Celebrity guest Hollywood Dave helps Gaydos deliver the news of the McCain spokesman who was fired for socking his girlfriend and Oprah’s ongoing quest for world domination!

It’s been another terrific week on Gaydos After Dark and we put the cap on it with words from a man who has been a leader, a businessman and now a funny man: President George W. Bush.

It’s great to have Gaydos on the program!

Gaydos After Dark–Thursday, February 7, 2008

Well, I guess we can stop asking whether or not Romney can win the White House! Tonight, we’ve got “The Top 7 Reasons Mitt Romney Dropped Out of the Race for President”!

During our first hour, it looks like the writing is on the wall and McCain is going to be the Republican presidential nominee! He addressed the Conservative Political Action Conference today and tried to behave like a conservative himself! Do you think they bought it? I know I don’t buy it!

After 8, oh, those kids today! Guess what they’re up to now! They’re meeting up before school to pray, but the Deer Valley Unified School District doesn’t want to let them announce the meetings on the school’s P.A. system! For the life of me, I can’t see why people have  to parade around praying in plain sight! I bet God can hear you, even if you pray in private! More importantly, that way, I won’t be able to hear you!

9 p.m. brings us back to Mitt Romney! He dropped out of the presidential race today, saying he’s just doing what’s best for America. Is it possible he’s really just backing off so he can safe face, regroup and run a more successful race next time?

On Red V. Blue Thursday, of course, we’ll play a rousing round of Presidential Match Game, featuring Headbanger Hanna Scott, presidential historian and scholar B. Nicks and young Gaydos apprentice Jarrett Carlen! One Republican and one Democratic contender face off and try to match wits with the aforementioned scintillating panel of stars! It all happens at 9:30!

We’ll finish off tonight’s fantastic show with the story of poor little rich girl Hillary Clinton! Oooh, she says her campaign funds are running dry, but don’t you believe it!

Gaydos After Dark–Wednesday, February 6, 2008

Shaq is coming to the Phoenix Suns, but some people are not impressed! We start tonight’s show with “The Top 7 Signs Shaquille O’Neal is Over the Hill”!

The Valley is buzzing about today’s big trade and many seem to think it’s a dumb move! Don’t get me wrong, Shaq is past his prime, but he’s still Shaq! Is it a lopsided trade? I don’t know, but I know it’s going to be interesting! This is our 7 o’clock topic!

In last night’s presidential primary, Arizona said a resounding “Yes!” to John McCain! At 8 o’clock, my response is a resounding “Why???” Could it be that people are so tired of the current immigration situation, that even amnesty looks good?

Starting off tonight’s third big hour, Eleanor Clift takes time out from her busy schedule with Newsweek and The McLaughlin Group to talk to Gaydos about McCain, his ability to unify the Republican party and why all the passion in this race seems to be coming from the left!

Just before the news at 9:30, I’ll tell you who was the biggest loser on Super Tuesday! It’s probably not who you think!

For our last half hour, we’re back to Shaq Fu! Al McCoy introduced the newest Sun to fans at the Purple Palace tonight and the big man was greeted by wild applause! We’ll get more of your thoughts on Shaquille’s move to the Valley and we finish tonight’s show with a Gaydos After Dark look at where the day takes you when you’re Shaq!

On the day after Super Bowl Sunday…on the eve of Super Tuesday…tonight we have a Super-sized edition of Gaydos After Dark!

Gaydos predicted that the New York Giants would come out on top and they did, but let’s not forget the guys who came in second this season!  We’ve got “The Top 7 New England Patriots Excuses”!

You probably know that I decided to leave one of my coveted Super Bowl seats empty in honor of my late grandfather!  During the 7 o’clock hour, I’ll relate the story of how Grandpa may actually have reached out to us from the great beyond as we attended the game!  Also, at 7:50, we’ll hear that Super Bowl parties aren’t necessarily all they’re cracked up to be!

It wouldn’t be a very special, Super-sized Gaydos After Dark without a second “Gaydos Top 7 at 7″!  (Well, actually “at 8″!)  Our bonus countdown tonight is also devoted to the also-rans!  It’s “The Top 7 Signs You Are Not Going to Win on Super Tuesday”!

During the 8 and 9 o’clock hours, we’re talking the vote!  Arizona is just one of many states holding presidential primaries tomorrow and Gaydos wants to hear from you!  We’ll find out how you’re going to spend your one precious vote, whether you’re a first-time voter, or  a longtime drinker at the fountain of democracy!

At 9:30, the crown jewel of the Gaydos After Dark political team, Sam Donaldson, tells us what to expect from the neck-and-neck Obama/Clinton race!  He also has thoughts on whether the G.O.P. nom will be Romney, McCain…or can Huckabee expect a miracle?

Gaydos After Dark–Friday, February 1, 2008

Phoenix has undergone a veritable infestation of celebs, each one throwing some kind of gigantic party in preparation for the Big Game! However, they can’t all be babes and bling galore, so tonight we bring you “The Top 7 Signs You’re at a Lame Celebrity Super Bowl Party”!

As you know, I, Gaydos, have four tickets to the Super Bowl. How did I get them, you ask? Well, quite simply, I’m Gaydos!! My father and brother are attending the game with me, but you won’t believe what I’ve decided to do with my fourth ticket! We’ll talk about it during tonight’s first hour!

After 8 o’clock, Pats receiver Randy Moss doesn’t seem happy to be playing here in town this weekend! He says his experience here has just been “okay” and he’s anxious to get the game over with and go home. Oh, don’t worry, Randy, you can blow this popsicle stand just as soon as my Giants are done with you!

At 8:30, it’s unpredictable, it’s entertaining, it’s kind of like Radio YouTube; it’s our beloved Friday night feature “Up to 20″!

At 9, we’ll talk about the Washington Post poll that says, when you ask Americans if they care more about the Super Bowl or Super Tuesday, they’re pretty much split right down the middle! This makes Gaydos think seriously about his priorities! Peeps, please, help Gaydos!

At 9:30, Gaydos After Dark sports guy Jon Bloom helps us preview football’s utimate event and tells us how big a deal the FBR is, even though it’s not the Phoenix Open anymore!

Finally on the FM dial, it’s great to have Gaydos on the program!!
