Gaydos, I usually love you and swoon over you, but tonight your comment of getting rid of your pets made me sad! I wouldn’t give up my pets for anything! They are part of my family, not a disposable product. I’m still gonna listen to you since you do make me laugh and help me get through work, but I hope I don’t have to hear anything like that again!

Gaydos, I usually find your program mildly amusing, but this idea of giving up your pet to help the cash flow is ridiculous! In the best of times the majority of animals turned into shelters are euthanized. There has been an increase in animals turned in because of the economic slow down. Those listeners who have taken your advice have more than likely sent their pet to its death. Good work Gaydos!
Also, I don’t know where you came up with your numbers! I have three dogs and there is no way I spend $200 a month on them. 2 x 30lbs. bags of food a month = maybe $65.00.
And what are these people teaching their children? That living creatures, that the family has committed to taking care of, are disposable. A wonderful lesson.
