Gaydos After Dark–Friday, May 30, 2008

At 7 o’clock, a lesbian couple is kicked out of a baseball game because they did the unthinkable! They kissed in public! I wish some people would just have the guts to explain this kind of thing to their kids, rather than running away screaming from the supposedly offensive behavior! Now that kind of closed-mindedness irks me enough, but what about doctors who, because of their religious beliefs, won’t treat gays and lesbians?! That’s totally out of line in this day and age and we’ll speak to that issue after 7:30!

At 8, the Democratic Party’s Rules and Bylaws Committee are finally getting together to settle the problem of the Florida/Michigan delegates! If you think Carrie, Samantha, Charlotte and Miranda are creating a big stir among women in the U.S., wait until you see the Hillary supporters who come out to demonstrate in the face of this meeting!

Every Friday night, right around 8:30, I am overcome with the excitement of “Up to 20″ and I know you are too! You have strong feelings and outlandish ideas—we have twenty seconds for you get ‘em out there!

The 9 o’clock hour brings us to my hair-raising bout with post-traumatic Sex and the City disorder! Yes, I admit it. I saw the movie and this hour, Gayle Bass stops in to help me get over it!

So-Young Chung made the Valley proud today in the Scripps National Spelling Bee! She returns to Gaydos After Dark at 9:20 to tell us how it went!

We’ve got “Gaydos on the News ” at 9:30! Headbanger Hanna Scott joins Gaydos in bringing you news of the corpses under Stonehenge, fatherhood in Clay Aiken’s future, plus this week’s bizarre accident on the I-10!
