Was the mugger dyslexic? That looks like Halloween makeup from Party City! I’m a McCain supporter but this seems FAKE.

  2. 2 Gina

I agree with Gaydos. Its obviously done with her finger nail looking in the mirror. But she absolutely got punched in the face.

Are you sure that the police are going to be prepared if Obama loses? It appears that the McCain and Palin followers are the ones that are more angry then those who attend Obama rallies. Maybe the McCain supporters are the ones that we have to be concerned with. They have shouted kill him and numerous other things that are dangerous to our society.

Where is the footage from the ATM’s camera? EVERY ATM has a camera; the fact that there isn’t any footage is kind of shady.

I’m sure the attacker/robber’s heart was racing while he was beating and stealing this girls money. That “B” that was “carved” into her face is pretty small so he would have had to take his time. Even a butter knife would have done more damage to her face than that. Definitely staged or the truth has been stretched!

It’s really amazing how many of these stories come out during election time. I no longer need to go to fark.com, youtube.com or similar sites to get a good laugh.

I am having a hard time believing this; maybe someone did rob her or maybe she is just trying to get her 15 minutes of fame. I thought the article said that she was hit in the back of the head - looks like she got beat up by a boyfriend or something. I guess she is gonna say a black guy did this to her also…I do not support John McShame; however, I am not about to go running people off the road or beating someone up because he or she has a different opinion than me. The most important this is for people to vote - no matter who it is for. Some people will do anything and I think there might be some make-up involved - WHY NOT go to the hospital?

What the heck….? I don’t know what to belive. But I can’t imagine that a thief would even friggin care about the election…and why not an “O” ? I think it stands for something else….

I thought the video was an Anti-Gaydos attack ad. I thought I was going to see something funny that Mac and Gaydos have been doing for the past week or so.

Instead I saw a video about McCain winning by one vote, and essentially a free ad for someone who supports Barack Obama.

That’s fine. Support Obama all you want. Don’t take advantage of innocent radio show hosts by making a video for them and then changing the link so that it gets your political message up and on a popular website.

    Please use YouTube instead…

Is this really so far-fetched? Of course we would all like to believe that this could never happen but when you consider that people from the other camp will cut you off on the 101, or give you the finger for having the wrong sticker not to mention defacing or destorying signs on your property is it really so hard to believe? Unfortunately I have know criminals and can very easily believe this story. Have you all lead such sheltered lives that this is inconceivable?

    Hi Guys,
There are so many different issues with education in this country that are causing the qualified teacher shortage that you will not be able to solve it on a radio show. Only that you could, is the lament of so many people. One of the primary issues at hand is the teacher burnout rate. This usually averages about three years.
Most teachers go in to education for the right reasons. Only to find the minimum qualifications of a bachelors degree and the multiple state endorsement tests at $75.00 a pop are not enough to maintain ones job. Add to this the state requirement of a master’s degree and the financial burden of obtaining said degree within a short period of time while teaching.
Plus there are the ongoing requirements of individual school districts requirements for new teacher training classes and ongoing teacher classes. Not to mention the continually changing requirements and additional classes for SEI, ELD, AZELLA (the list goes on) endorsements. If a teacher survives the first three years and ALL of these requirements, they will usually stay in the field. That is if they are able to afford doing so.
Looking only at the educational requirements for teaching and the accompanying financial burden serves to illustrate the imbalance for the pay received by teachers across the country. Usually a person with a master’s degree will earn upwards of $75,000.
However, when you add into the equation the: overcrowded classrooms; severe behavioral problems that are not related to a medical condition; the behavior issues that are related to medical conditions; multiple learning levels (also called disabilities); no support or aides for those students in need and are mandated by IDEA, NCLB, SEI, and ELD; unrealistic tests with questions to which many student cannot relate because they have been written by those who have no concept of social justice or reality; insane amounts of testing because many districts live in fear of losing federal and state funding because students will not perform well due to the fact that the students do not have the same exposures to culture and the outside world beyond the immediate area that other kids in the city/state/country have because of social and financial status.
Let’s not forget the extended days, weekends, and summer time spent preparing for the upcoming year of teaching. Each teacher must prepare: the weeks daily lesson plans for each class and subject that explain exactly what he/she will be doing with the class; complete grade books; chart the grades for each student, class, and grade level; the Program of Study for each quarter; and the Month Calendar identifying when each PO (part of a state standard) will be introduced, taught, tested, and re-taught; and post these changing items on the classroom walls. This does not take into consideration those administrators “who have been promoted to his or her level of incompetence” not supporting the teachers. For instance aggression from students towards other students and teachers receiving the missive of “write the teacher an apology letter,” teachers are required to accept this form of “corrective action,” and made to bring the aggressor back into the classroom.
Very quickly teachers begin to realize that teaching is not as wonderful as he or she had once thought. Reality begins to set in as those student loan payments are being made. Teaching after school tutorials and coaching is not enough to make ends meet and a second job becomes necessary. It is at this point that teachers begin to look at how much money their high school and college classmates are currently making and seek out other avenues of employment where the pay scale will match his or her education level.
Yes this does sound like ranting. Instead it is the reality of the profession. If you gentlemen would like to use your First Amendment rights and profession to bring real issues to the forefront please do so. On behalf of teachers everywhere, I implore you to not fixate on just one or more of the symptoms of the underlying problems of education in America.
    Thank you.
    Kelly

If and I stress if this is true, this has nothing to do with Obama and the millions of his supporters who are decent. The person that assaulted this woman should be buried under the jail. This is not what Obama stands for by no means. I can’t believe how idiotic some can be….

    Hey John,

I drive home on I-10 South/East towards Tucson because I live in Casa Grande, and let me tell ya…I have only seen Obama bumper stickers on my way home…and NO ONE is trying to run anyone off the road. I have an Obama-Biden bumper sticker on my car and the last thing I am thinking of doing is running people off the road for having a McCain sticker (I actually have NOT seen one anywhere I drive and I work in Chandler - not saying they do not exist). BTW - my in-laws are very conservative republicans. Please do not place blame for stupid road rage incidents that have existed in the Phoenix area for years on any election, Obama or even McCain.

As the person that posted the fake attack ad, in my defense it was difficult for me to do as a McCain supporter. I thought though that it demonstrated the interesting strategies that Obama’s campaign has taken. It is amazing how embedded his strategies/ads are in my (as I’m sure others) daily lives. His name is everywhere! Flooding the media has become a nuisance to this voter. I can’t even open my email account without an Obama ad popping up, it is ridiculous. I hope people see this as a moment of desperation in the final leg. And to have the nerve to delay the world series.. I mean seriously COME ON! With the economy in such turmoil we Americans have very few pleasures that we are indulging in that let us escape from the day to day stresses… Don’t mess with what little we have right now it’s just rude and cocky.

Here’s a thought, the media essentially has ultimate power, right? We only know what is reported to us correct? Well let’s try something different please, let’s have the news media say the economy is doing fine. We should continue as normal. Get up and go to work and smile because you are a part of the solution not the problem. I just wonder what would happen if all of the negative talk about the economy would just stop and instead we could encourage and motivate people. I guarantee you that since we the people make this economy strong, if we believed that it was ok, we could turn it around.
