They need to have this kid, hold an exact replica of the weapon, set up silhouttes, aim and shoot. I don’t think this kid can do it. How heavy is the rifle? Reload a bolt action 8 times? Aim with any accuracy two adult men, 2 feet taller than him? I think the kid is in shock, confused, affraid, and telling people what ever comes to his mind. A total psycological evaluation needs to done to determine his intelligence, cognisence, and overall mental stability. There are just too many puzzle pieces missing.

I agree.. I spent many years in the militay and there are so many variables in what it would take to kill someone with a 22.caliber weapon. For example, was the shell hollow point, etc.. You would really have to know what you are doing to kill someone with a 22. Not to mention, this is a 8 year old boy. First, there is no way that the other person would not hear that shot and come running. A 22, makes a loud “clap” when it is shot..It is not a slient gun by any strech of the imagination… Also where and the heck is the mom.. I thought you could not question as child without a parent present…

It does seem confusing about this kid…

…more importantly, Uncle Sam, please do not bail out the auto industry!!! This is their chance to finally re-structure and become competitive. If we bail them out, we will continue to get the same crappy product, produced by the same crappy, overpaid, underqualified people that have been milking the system for almost a century now! Bankruptsy is the answer to get rid of union labor in the auto industry!!!

I listened to the part 1 and part 2 portions of the audio interview of the boy. Why is there such a large chunk of audio missing between the two? Part 1 ends with questions asking about the car. Part 2 immediately starts with questions about how many times the kid shot his dad. What happens in between the two? This kid clearly sounds like he is just blabbering stuff. He is repeating ideas and thoughts that the interviewer is questioning him about like he is trying to answer the questions with the answers that the interviewer wants to hear, not what really happened. I think this story is going to fall apart real fast. Of course the media always likes to jump on this stuff pre-maturely before all the evidence and information has been obtained.
