Going and going

No Rick Pitino, no Mark Few, no Jeff Capel, and now no Tim Floyd. The market has spoken and it says U of A is not, repeat, NOT an elite job as of right now. As to who will fill the vacancy is anybody’s guess. We’re done with that. But if perception is reality, U of A is in serious trouble, as the perception is that the vacancy in Tucson is not very desirable.

So Tim Floyd is staying, but Jay Cutler is going. Finally. Now, finally, the Bears may have an offense worthy of their perennially stellar defense - all of which in turn may make Chicago a viable threat to the Cards’ NFC crown. In any case, Burnsy is ready to crown the Bears the hands-down winner in this trade with Denver.

Tim Floyd may have been the big winner today, as his services seem to be very much in demand and, at the very least, he has pretty good job security. Floyd talked about why he turned down the Arizona job to a USC reporter, whose 1 on 1 interview was posted on USC’s athletic website.
