Every year, you help the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metropolitan Phoenix immensely.  Every year, their need grows.  So please accept our sincere thanks for what you’ve done.  And if you can, please find a way to help us again with the 3rd Annual Doug and Wolf’s Gear Up for Kids, presented by Sanderson Ford, Lincoln & Volvo, and University of Phoenix.

It takes a tremendous amount of sports equipment to keep kids active at our local Boys & Girls Club.  Every day, hundreds want to play with basketballs, soccer balls and volleyballs.  This is just for the after school programs.  Now, add the need for equipment in leagues like catcher’s gear, ball bags, baseball bats, helmets and footballs.  You get the picture.

The bottom line is this.  Boys & Girls Clubs are able to keep kids off the streets with the gear you donate.  The leagues you support teach kids how to win and lose with dignity and respect.  It takes money, volunteers and equipment to make it all work.  So let’s get started.

Look through your garage and collect up any gently-used or new sporting goods you can.  Then, take it to Sanderson Ford, Lincoln or Volvo dealerships.  Or look for the special collection bin at your neighborhood Walmart during the last two weeks of June.
